PRODUCT
Simply upload your image and select your print size, background colour, number of people/pets and whether you would like to add text and a frame. Your custom illustration will be created in our Born Beau style, with our soft pastel and nude colour themed designs, perfect for your home, created just for you or your loved one.
Our talented artists spend hours hand illustrating each artwork. For this reason, we can't provide a preview of your image before you purchase. Nevertheless, we provide you with unlimited revisions to make sure you love your final piece.
For our faceless illustration, you have the option to choose no facial features, eyebrows or eyebrows & smiles.
If you would like us to illustrate full facial features, simply add the Full Facial Features add-on to your order or choose our Detailed Illustration.
A digital download means you will only receive a high quality digital file of your illustration which you either print yourself, use as a profile image for your social media or as a screensaver on your device. If you want the physical print, please select from the print sizes on our order page.
As your custom artwork will be based on the photo you send us, picking the right image is key. Please feel free to send us an email, message us on Instagram @born_beau or send us a message on our instant chat and one of our team will be able to advise on which image would work best! We also have our photo guide on our order page. We would advise selecting a clear image that is not overly complex with clear framing and composition. This is so we can create the best possible piece of artwork for you. Full or half body and portraits. are the best for this type of illustration.
Yes of course! Be sure to include them as a "person" when creating your order.
We are unable to change the positioning of a person, for example, from sitting to standing or vice versa. However, we are more than happy to remove any parts of the image or change the colour of your clothes for example. Please confirm your request in the notes section.
Yes! Simply add the Custom Background add-on to your order and your artist will handle the rest!
As we specialise in 'faceless art', we do not illustrate eyes by standard.
However, if you would like us to illustrate full facial features (including eyes), simply add the Full Facial Features add-on to your order or choose our Detailed Illustration.
We offer 3 sizes, which will either be in inches or centimetres depending on whether you are ordering from the US (inches) or from the UK/EU (centimetres). For further guidance, we have our size guide on our order page.
All illustrations are printed on a 200 gsm museum-quality, thick and long-lasting matte (uncoated) paper. Paper is responsibly sourced and FSC certified from sustainably managed forests.
No, frames are sold separately. You can add them to your order at the top of this page. We offer frames which come in either wood, white or black.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING
We currently ship to the UK, the USA & Canada. Shipping is £3.99.
We aim to create your personalised illustration within 3-5 days of your order being placed for you to review. If you order the physical print, delivery normally takes between 3-10 business days. This is dependent on the order destination.
However, please note that sometimes it can take 1-2 days extra due to delays in the carrier or if we have an unusually high volume of orders.
Please note that shipping times will be extended if you request any revisions of your design.
If you order a digital download only, you will receive your preview within 3-5 days and once you have approved your illustration we will send you all files via email.
If you submitted an order with us but didn't receive an order confirmation, it's possible that your email address was entered incorrectly. Get in touch with us at team@bornbeau.com to see if we have received an order in your name. We're happy to change the email address for you and send you the order confirmation. In other cases, the order may not have gone through, so just get in touch before placing a new order to avoid a duplicate order.
You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. If you would like to spread the cost, we offer both Klarna and Clearpay. Please note that the payment options vary depending on which country you're from.
We will always aim to provide your preview within 5 days, however you are welcome to add the date you would need your illustration in the notes section and we will do our best to get this back to you as soon as possible. If you would like to check if we can fulfil your order in time please pop us an email or message and one of the team will advise and manage your expectations.
RETURNS
You can make changes to it up to 6 hours after you have placed your order. Please email us at team@bornbeau.com with the changes you wish to make.
In the unlikely event that your print or frame is damaged, you will need to report this within one week from the received delivery. All queries should be sent to team@bornbeau.com. Please include an image of the product as well as of the package.

As all our artworks are custom made, we unfortunately can’t accept returns or offer refunds unless your print arrived damaged. Learn more here.
